Description

The course will take the learner on a journey exploring how infections exist and spread, the course will also look at the consequences to regulated services and requirements from Care Quality Commission (CQC) the learners will refresher their knowledge of MRSA, C Diff and Covid 19

On completion of the course the learner will be able to :

• Recall the regulatory requirements surround all matters relevant to infection control
• Identify how infection is spread
• Outline the reasons for wearing the correct PPE whilst undertaking regulated duties
• Demonstrate correct hand hygiene procedures
• Demonstrate how to safely and effectively donn and doff PPE
• Describe how to protect themselves and others
